PGL Travel Ltd

PGL Travel Ltd is the UK’s leading provider of residential activity holidays and educational courses for children.

Now into our 53rd year of successful business, more than 250,000 eager young guests come on a PGL holiday each year and we’re looking for enthusiastic, energetic staff to make that happen at our 30+ centres across the UK, France and Spain.

Our guests spend their days climbing, canoeing, quadbiking and tackling the infamous PGL challenge course so they build up quite an appetite!

We’re looking for motivated people wanting to further their catering career to join us at over 25 locations across the UK, France and Spain. Accommodation and meals are provided and we’ll even transport you out to our overseas resorts.

Our centre locations overseas include the Opal Coast, Dordogne, Normandy, Paris, the French Mediterranean and Spain’s Costa Brava.

In the UK, we have centres in Perthshire, Wales, Lincolnshire, Lancashire, Devon, the Wye Valley, Shropshire, Lincolnshire, the home counties, the Isle of Arran and along the South Coast.

Working with young people in some of Europe's most stunning locations offers a refreshing alternative to the standard 9 to 5 routine.

We have vacancies for all levels of catering professional – from assistants with no previous experience seeking their first job in the industry, to Chefs, Cooks and Catering Managers.

The variation in our centre capacities offers many opportunities for self-development and we also offer Nationally-recognised Apprenticeships and NVQs at Level 2 and 3. These are all free of charge to our staff, providing you complete your contract of employment with us.

Experience is not always necessary for many roles - more important is stamina and a sense of humour.

All positions include accommodation, meals, services, transport to resort from a UK port if working overseas and much more, including access to training and qualification opportunities for many roles.

Flexible-length contracts are available. You can apply to work for the full season (up to 10 months), for as little as 12 weeks or any period of time in between, although we have very few vacancies for just the summer months (June, July, August). Many staff return for subsequent seasons or combine PGL with ski season work during the winter months.

Help give our guests the time of their lives … while you have yours!
